Platelet Rich Matrix
PRFM system is used for under eye rejuvenation, post-procedure topical application, and dermal stimulation injection. The system is designed for the safe and rapid preparation of Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) from a small sample of blood at the patient point of care. Treatments of PRFM provide a smoother, healthier appearance to the skin through a series of two sessions, given about one month apart. This is a great procedure to add after a filler or laser treatment.
PRFM is also used for hair restoration. Dr. Foltz-Cook will inject the PRFM into affected areas of the scalp to promote healthy and natural hair growth. Injections are done about four weeks apart. The number of treatments needed depends on each individual, the desired outcome, and the provider’s treatment plan.
